Hey you there, yes you!
Are you someone who naturally wants to understand how things work? Who doesn’t stop at “it doesn’t work” but keeps asking questions until the real cause is revealed? And who meanwhile is also a nice contact person for the customer on the other side of the line? Then we’ve almost got your name on the door.
At MyFMS we are looking for a Service Employee for our Mobility Hub who operates at the intersection of technology and service. Sometimes you’ll assist a customer in using our platform, other times you’ll dive into vehicle data or track down a connection problem. Boring, no. Challenging? Absolutely. Fun? You bet.
Just to brag
MyFMS is part of Micpoint, a trusted Dutch family business active in mobility technology since 1989. We specialize in smart solutions for fleet management, asset tracking and personal safety. With our platform, companies gain real-time insight into their vehicles, trips and mobility data so that they maintain an overview, work more efficiently and operate safely.
And just to brag: MyFMS is ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and BIO2 certified. This means that quality and information security are not just words, but daily practice. We work according to the Lean method and improve every day. Because standing still is not an option.
Behind the platform is a close-knit team that works daily to improve both technology and service. Short lines, real collaboration and colleagues who take responsibility. That’s us.
But what does such a day as a service hero look like?
You come in, pour a coffee and open the ticket system. There’s a customer reporting that his GPS data isn’t coming in, another has a question about dashboard usage, and somewhere a notification is flashing that demands your attention. Don’t panic: You analyze, prioritize and pick it up.
You monitor SLAs, provide clear feedback to customers and coordinate with your colleagues from development, operations or field service if an issue belongs there. Do you see a pattern in recurring reports? If so, you record it, help identify the cause and contribute to a structural solution. At the end of the day there is one less thing standing in the way of our customers. And that feels good.
You do this and much more
You record, analyze and prioritize incidents and monitor SLAs and progress of reports. You escalate disruptions when they impact customers and coordinate follow-up for hardware, connectivity or platform issues. You monitor data streams such as GPS, vehicle data and sensor data and identify abnormalities in performance or connectivity. You act proactively when systems or devices are not doing what they are supposed to do.
You help customers with questions about the platform and use of the MyFMS Mobility Hub, and you always provide clear feedback on progress. You work closely with development on technical issues, identify recurring problems and help analyze the cause. You contribute to improvements in working methods, documentation and knowledge sharing and provide input for structural product improvements.
Because we are an ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and BIO2 certified Lean organization, you have an affinity with the proper recording of knowledge and working according to clear processes. Is that still new to you? We will gladly teach you how it works with us.
Can you tick off a few?
Do you recognize yourself in this?
You have a growth mindset and want to understand how systems work.
You look for causes and not just quick fixes.
You want to get one step better every day and like to work according to the principle of continuous improvement.
You make knowledge transferable through proper ticket recording and documentation.
You have MBO or HBO working and thinking level and communicate in Dutch and English easily.
Prefer if you have experience in service desk, IT operations or SaaS support.
And an extra plus if you have an affinity for mobility, IoT or fleet management. Basic knowledge of networks such as SIM, APN and TCP/IP, data flows and dashboards, and incident and ticket management: nice touch, but also great to learn.
I would apply as…
Not: If when an error occurs you think “someone else will fix that”
Not: If you prefer to work without customer contact or technical challenges
Not: If you don’t fancy a close-knit team where everyone really knows each other
Well: If you are the one who keeps asking until the problem is really solved
Well: If you get excited about technology that makes companies smarter
Well: If you want to work at a company that has known what it is doing for more than 35 years
A colleague speaks
“At MyFMS, you work in a team where you really make a difference. You have the freedom to think for yourself, but you are never alone. The lines of communication with development and operations are short, so if you flag something, something is actually done with it. No bureaucracy, just working together and getting a little better every day.” ~ One of your future colleagues
With you we can take on the world
You keep our customers happy and our platform stable, and we take good care of you. You get a competitive salary based on your experience, a company laptop and phone, vacation pay, pension and a travel allowance. Furthermore, there are fun team outings, a vitality allowance for your health, flexible working hours and work from home options, a lot of freedom and responsibility, and an open door with the management. What more could you want?
