Are you the person who automatically starts checking whether everything is correct when you see a receipt? Who secretly gets happy when the figures come out exactly? And who also joins in with the rest of the team? Then we have something great for you.

At MyFMS, we are looking for a financial administrative assistant to keep the financial heart of our company beating. You make sure the accounts are correct, the invoices are correct, the VAT is correct…. In short: you make sure everything is correct. And if something is not correct? Then you’re the one who spots it and thinks about how to improve it.

But what does such a day as a cipher look like?

You walk into our office in Houten, grab a coffee (or tea, we’re not difficult) and open your mailbox. There are some purchase invoices that need to be processed, a debtor has a question and a bank entry is not quite right. Don’t worry: you’ll have this fixed in no time.

Furthermore, you prepare the VAT return, maintain the general ledger accounts and make sure everything is ready for the accountant. Do you see something in between that could be smarter or more efficient? Then you think along and contribute to our Lean way of working. You really don’t have to be an automation expert, curiosity is enough. At the end of the day you know: the figures are correct, and tomorrow starts all over again.

You do this and much more

You process purchase and sales invoices, manage debtors and creditors, and process bank entries and memorandum entries. You check and update general ledger accounts, prepare and submit VAT returns. You also support monthly and year-end closings, prepare documents for the accountant, and provide financial statements. Do you see discrepancies or incompleteness? You spot them. And you contribute to clear documentation of our financial processes.

In addition to all that numerical work, you think about how things can be done a little smarter. Digitization, automation, better processes: you are ready for it. Because we are an ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and BIO2 certified organization, you have an affinity with complying with quality and security standards. Don’t panic if you haven’t quite got that down yet, we’ll be happy to teach you how it works for us.

You work accurately and in a structured manner and feel responsibility for accurate figures.
You are eager to learn and continue to develop your craft.

You have MBO or HBO working and thinking level, preferably in business administration.
You have experience with accounting software such as Exact or similar and know the basics: general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and Excel.

Prefer if you have previously worked in a tech or SaaS environment, or have an affinity for data and automation.
