Hey you there, yes you!
Are you the person who naturally starts planning before anyone asks for it? Who keeps a cool head when three technicians call at the same time, a delivery runs late and a customer wants to know when his installer will arrive? And who takes care of all that without missing a single tick? Then we have a job for you.
At MyFMS, we are looking for a Planner & Logistics Officer to be the driving force behind our field service operation. You ensure that the right technician is in the right place at the right time, that the hardware is ready and that the customer always knows where they stand. Boring? Absolutely not. Versatile? You bet.
Just to brag
MyFMS is part of Micpoint, a trusted Dutch family company active in mobility technology since 1989. We build smart solutions for fleet management, asset tracking and personal safety. With the MyFMS Mobility Hub, we help organizations make mobility simple, transparent and efficient. Less administration, more insight and better support for employees.
And just to brag: MyFMS is ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and BIO2 certified. Quality and safety are daily practice for us, not posters on the wall. We work according to the Lean method and get a little better every day. Because we simply want to.
But what does such a day as a planning champion look like?
You come in, pour something and open OutSmart and ZohoDesk. New service tickets have come in, a mechanic needs an update on his route, and there’s a hardware package that needs to go out the door today. Don’t panic: You know exactly which mechanic has capacity, which route is smart and what’s ready in the warehouse.
You assign assignments, optimize routes, monitor SLA deadlines and keep customers informed. In between, you check stock, follow up on a purchase order and process feedback from mechanics into the planning. At the end of the day, utilization is at maximum, the customer is satisfied and another smooth day is ready for tomorrow.
You do this and much more
You create daily and weekly capacity planning of mechanics based on workload, location and competency. You create work orders in OutSmart, optimize routes and communicate schedule changes to mechanics and stakeholders in a timely manner. You monitor SLA deadlines and priorities.
In ZohoDesk, you register, categorize and track incoming service requests. You link tickets to the appropriate technician, monitor ticket status and escalate in a timely manner if needed. This includes customer communication about statuses and expected arrival times.
For mechanics, you are the first point of contact for operational questions. You provide clear task instructions and monitor progress through OutSmart. On the logistics side, you assess hardware needs, follow up on purchase orders, receive and register hardware, put together packages for mechanics and manage return flows. In short: you keep everything moving.
Because we are an ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and BIO2 certified Lean organization, you like to work in a structured way and you record knowledge and processes well. Is that new to you? We would like to teach you how we do it here.
Can you tick off a few?
Do you recognize yourself in this?
You have MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level, preferably towards Logistics, Business Administration or ICT.
You have at least 2 years of experience in a planning or logistics role.
You have strong organizational skills and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
You work proactively and accurately with an eye for detail.
You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
You remain calm under pressure and dare to make decisions in a dynamic environment.
You have analytical ability to recognize trends in planning and logistics data.
Prefer if you have experience with OutSmart, ZohoDesk or similar field service or ticketing systems. And extra nice if you have an affinity for technical services or the installation industry.
I would apply as…
Not: If you prefer to let things run their course and wait to see what comes your way
Not: If when “SLA is exceeded” you think “that will solve itself”
Not: If you don’t feel like being the linchpin that an entire team relies on
Well: If you’re the one already planning three steps ahead while everyone else is still waking up
Well: If you get excited about an operation that runs a little tighter every day
Well: If you want to work at a company that has known what it’s doing for more than 35 years
A colleague speaks

The lines are short, you have a direct impact and if you have a smart idea to organize something better, they really listen to it.” ~ One of your future colleagues
With you we can take on the world

You will receive a competitive salary based on your education and experience, a company laptop and phone, vacation pay, pension and a travel allowance.
